I saw this on my way to grab lunch the other day. I love old pickup trucks. This one was in great shape but it wasn’t all “restored”-looking. The wood planks in the bed were roughed up like it was still in steady use but the whole thing was clean, like the guy who owns it knows what he has and he keeps it up.

With all of that snow, I just couldn’t help myself.

I’ve been a fan of the “hey, here’s a nice scene” photos over at Eco Velo for some time now and this is my first meager attempt at one. I forget where I read it, but someone suggested that you should leave for your commute 20 minutes earlier than you think so if you see something cool you can stop and take a photo of it. Tonight I saw the nearly-full moon and a good spot to get my bike in a shot so i stopped and took it because I had time. I should start taking along a better camera.

This was weird to me because I’ve never seen all 3 lights blinking when traffic light isn’t working.

It’s usually either a blinking red or amber.

The folks who made that QuadCamera app that I love so much also have a single shot version called ToyCamera.

I have a hunch I will be goofing around with this a lot.

QuadCamera is a neat little iPhone app that mimics the effect of those Lomo ActionSamplers.

You can monkey with the exposure interval and the number and formatting of the snapshots. This will be fun to play with when I am out ~~with the kids~~ tearin’ it up at the club, y’all!

I got this phonecam photo sent to my gmail last night and I don’t recognize the number (or the feet).

Michelle doesn’t know the number either.

949 area code on the number puts them from southern California, but I don’t have people in Orange County (that I know of).

I’m sure it just got sent to the wrong email, I’ve been getting that a lot lately, but if the owner of these feet reads this please drop me a comment so the mystery can be solved.
