I guess they weren’t old to him since he had seen most of them when he was growing up. But still, I sat through hours and hours of them as a kid so I got a kick out of this reel of early Hollywood stars flubbing lines.

“Charming” is really the best word I can think of to describe it.

The positive response to this photo surprised even me, so I took the plunge and opened my own cafepress.com shop, with this as my maiden image. I know it’s way too late for anything to happen for Christmas, but if you are in the market for a new coffee mug (or a wall clock or a bumper sticker) to commemorate this historic eclipse please consider my humble offerings.

This could be the start of something big.
