Cool Hunting has the interview. It’s short, but it’s not like they need to sell me on it. I’ve been waiting for this for a long time.
Actually, the “interview” sucks. Let’s just call this a reminder that the DVD set comes out next week.
I somehow got on a Warner Bros. email list and a terrible, terrible marketing effort landed in my Inbox. It says, and I am not kidding:
“Jerkin’: the new West Coast cultural phenomenon taking the streets by storm! It’s a dance, it’s a style, it’s a movement!
Introducing The New Boyz: Ben J & Tha Legacy. The leaders of a new movement straight outta Los Angeles called Jerkin’. “

I’m sure it’s piracy that’s killing the music biz.
You can pay up and get Homer’s voice in your Tom Tom gps unit.

These samples are kinda funny:

Keyboard Cat is another one of those memes that you either enjoy or don’t.
I currently cannot get enough of it. It makes me laugh almost every time.

I’m looking into some overnight getaway for Michelle and I in April for our 10th wedding anniversary(!) and we’re kicking around the idea of taking a train somewhere. Charlottesville is not, apparently, an easy place to get to (or from) by train:

So they’re offering me a train ride from downtown to the west end of the city, and then a bus ride to get to Charlottesville. And then a train ride back to Richmond via DC with a 4 hour layover at Union Station.
Awesome.
Apparently the President had a friend who swore all the time. When he talks about this guy in the book he quotes him. Of course, Barack Obama read the audiobook version so there are some outstanding bits of awesomeness in there.
I am at work and can’t get copies uploaded. I will try to get some of it up on my own space tonight.
As a dad of two girls I try to find things to watch that 1) will appeal to them and 2) won’t make me want to scream. Amy Poehler’s new web show “Smart Girls at the Party” looks like a candidate to fit both of those bills.

These SNL mid-week Election Specials have been pretty damn funny.
