I hope you guys had a tasty Thanksgiving. Here’s a small set of what I have been listening to lately. It’s a little all over the map but that’s where I’ve been these days. Pay special attention to that Thao with the Get Down Stay Down song. Thao Nguyen has a great voice and the Get Down Stay Down is one of the best band names I’ve heard in a while.

As a vinyl nerd who has moved to become more of an appreciator than an acquirer I especially enjoy these pro customs for the upcoming Munnyworld show in NYC.

There is something about Huck Gee’s work that I really, really enjoy. It’s probably the knuckle tattoos. Awesome.

Sket-One also does insane custom work. This is just silly-good.

Them Crooked Vultures is the Josh Homme, John Paul Jones, Dave Grohl super group. I have to say, they’ve done a great job of stopping leaks of this album so it’s cool that they’re streaming the whole thing a week before it comes out.

As an aside, I’ve had terrific luck finding music to stream at YouTube. It’s a wildly underrated use of that service. You can find pretty much anything.

I’m going to take a couple of touring rides next year, even if I have to just make them up on my own and go by myself. Virginia has a ton of places to see that would be neat to roll by on a bike.
