Kevin Kelly’s Cool Tools has a really nice one today. popurls.com is a meta-meta aggregator.
“This single page now replaces my need to directly read Digg, Reddit, Delicious, Furl, Slashdot, BoingBoing, NewsVine, Metafilter and all the others that I subscribe too. This one page encapsulates up-to-the-minute headlines from 15 consensus filters, and top thumbnail images from the social sites Flickr, YouTube, and Google Video. The hive mind on one screen.”
I don’t use a newsreader. Most of the blogs I read I visit to check out the design as much as for the content. Popurls, however, is something I will definitely use for all of the link-generator sites. I’m not missing a lot of design by reading an aggregate of Fark, del.icio.us, boingboing, et. al.

I’ve been using popurls for a month or so now, and I really enjoy the one page layout with that much content. I’m all for thrift and saving time.
