Emma Bunton is hot. I’m a simple guy (obvs.) and a pretty girl that sings will get at least a single listen from me. Imagine my surprise when that pretty girl makes some damn fun pop songs! And when I say pop I mean in a swinging-’60′s-London-by-way-of-2005-Hollywood sort of way. It’s definitely candy pop music but this is hitting me just the right way. Plus she’s pretty.
Crickets Sing for Annamariais probably the swingingest of the bunch. It’s got horns, electronic beats, vibraphone, some samba shuffle and a sing-along quality that I really should have caught onto back at the beginning of the Summer.

I can only hope and pray that you were halfway through a bottle of Blanton’s when you posted this….

She sounds like an upbeat, poppy Basia. A Basia 33 playing at 45.

There is fifteen years of Kylie Minogue’s back catalog for you when you are done with this.

This was a Blanton’s-free post. Swear.
Which one was Basia? I think I am confusing her with Enya.
Kylie is also foxy, no doubt, but I need to get back to some rough-looking dudes with guitars (preferrably from Brooklyn) to re-establish my indy rock street cred.

“indy”, as in Indianapolis. Duh.
The Indy-rock scene is gonna kick Detroit’s ass. Just you wait…
But thanks for stopping by Dani. You’re a peach!
