ESPN reporting that the Giants and Manning agreed to a six-year, $54 million deal today.

Phew. Now he’ll be in camp from the beginning, which is huge. This is further support to my point of Manning being a low-risk/high-potential choice for the Giants. I still think Warner should start the season and play as long as he keeps New York in playoff contention. I think the odds are higher for Warner getting hurt or playing himself out of the starting job, but in the preseason I can still dream.
