‘Death of a Disco Dancer’

From the classic Strangeways, Here We Come, ‘Death of…’ starts with a slinky little bass line and ends with the big, shimmering guitars that I have always been a sucker for.

Man, we share the same favorite Smiths song. Cool.

Actually, I alternate between “Death of…” and “There is a Light…”,
depending on my mood… but still, you just can’t beat that
build up in “Death of…”. And the way those drums kick in,
when he starts hitting the snare harder… love it…
