Lange and Flynn

We had the Lange’s over for cooking out a few weeks ago. Mary took a bunch of pictures and sent us some copies.

That’s me with my friend Chris.

Thank You Paramount Home Video

Watched How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days tonight as a Netflix rental.
You know the part when you put a DVD in and then get immediately barraged with previews? Well, this DVD presented an option right after you put it in. We got to choose to view the trailers or to go straight to the main DVD menu.
Yeah, it’s a small thing, but I thought it was cool.

‘I Am Trying To Break Your Heart’

Finished watching I Am Tying To Break Your Heart last night. I thought it was great. I had heard all of the hubbub about how Warner paid for the album twice but it was cool to see the whole thing unfold on screen.

I like Jeff Tweedy’s voice, and Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is a great album.

whoa!

I…I don’t know what to say.

***UPDATED 7/26/2003***
According to Snopes this is really a scary-ass dolphin, not a scary-ass shark.

Thanks to Ethan for getting me the truth.

‘Flog’

A ‘Fitness Blog’. Get it?

I was trolling the MT Support Forum looking for templates to be inspired by when I ran across this entry at jeff-talajic.com.

I think it’s a great idea. Thanks, Jeff.

There Be Pirates!

Just got back from Pirates of the Caribbean. What a cool-ass movie. Johnny Depp is so far out of his tree it’s brilliant. Fast pace, good laughs, no bloody gore (you know, for the kids); it all adds up to good movie fun.

And the girl from Bend It Like Beckham is a meta-fox. Ha-cha-cha!

Slept Like a Dead Stone

Crawled into bed last night at 9:15. Turned off the light at 9:30.

Woke to my wife saying, “It’s getting really late” at 7:30 this morning!

That’s 10 HOURS of sleep. I’ve gone weeks where I haven’t gotten that much sleep. Crazy.

The Problem with 13 Day Break

Ugh. I’ve been trying to get into some shape (other than round). I ran this morning for the first time in 13 days. For the record, 13 days is too long a break. Any gains made will dissolve if you wait 13 days between bouts of exercise.

Just so you know.
